
Professor Dr. Lester C. Massingham
Prof. Dr. Massingham's current
responsibilities as Group Managing Director of the Charles
Massingham Consulting Group (CMC) involves directing the
strategic management of CMC's international business.
Apart from the development of
management programmes for academic and professional
awards, Prof. Dr. Massingham also directs in-company
training and corporate and management consulting. He also
holds the position as Director of Studies for the
Executive MBA programme in International Marketing awarded
by the Berne University of Applied Sciences.
His academic leadership also extends to the University of
Cambridge Executive Diploma in Management, for which CMC
is an International Associate Partner with the University
of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES).
As a recognized personality in the marketing arena, Prof.
Dr. Massingham is an active Fellow of the Chartered
Institute of Marketing where he also has been a Senior
Examiner and Advisor for many years.
His vast experience involves acting as an International
Consultant across 18 countries, for over 100 projects with
companies like DHL, Ford of Europe, The Guthrie
Organisation, Tyco Engineering and the Inchcape Group to
name but a few.
Prof. Dr. Massingham is also an established author of some
six marketing texts, including bestsellers with reputable
publishers like McGraw-Hill and Butterworth Heinemann.
Some titles to his name include "Marketing Management",
"The Essentials of Marketing", "Strategic Marketing
Planning" and "Marketing Case Studies". Prof. Dr.
Massingham holds a PhD in Management & International
Business from Durham University (UK).
